Tucson Mountain Hike
Details
Join me for a fun mid-week hike in the beautiful Tucson Mountains when the trails are quieter and most of the bikers are still snoozing or on their way to work!
We’ll meet at the Sarasota Trailhead and link together a few scenic trails (Sarasota, Explorer, Little Cat, Yetman, and Star Pass) completing a loop just under 6 miles. It’s the perfect way to stretch your legs, breathe in that desert air, and enjoy some gorgeous Sonoran views. If we keep our voices low, we just might spot the large herd of mule deer that call this area home and of course, we’ll be surrounded by an endless forest of saguaros, including one of the rare crested beauties.
Bring plenty of water, sun hat, and sense of adventure and we will make a morning of it!
When: Wednesday November 12th, arrive no later than 6:50 a.m. because we will begin hiking promptly at 7:00 a.m.
Where: the Sarasota Trailhead located at 2737 Sarasota BLVD
