Hike the Green Mt trail on Mt Lemmon

Please join us to hike on the scenic Green Mountain trail 6 or so miles r/t about 1700 ft elevation gain. This hike starts part way up Mt Lemmon, milepost 12, with cooler temps than Tucson and partial shade. We will start the hike at General Hitchcock trailhead, cross the creek a few times hike to the base of Mt Guthrie and take a snack break at a view spot.
This is not a hike for beginning hikers due to steep, rocky areas and elevation gain.
Predicted temperature range 60-74 degrees that day on the trail , bring 2-3 liters of water, electrolytes, snacks, sunscreen, usual hiking footwear and gear, and poles if you use them.

We will carpool and caravan to the triailhead Please do not join a carpool if you are sick.

This hike is colisted with another site and there is still room for 5 hikers.
