Santa Rita Mts - Kent Springs Trail

Let's get together for a leisurely hike in the Santa Rita's.

Distance is 6.3 miles round trip (out and back). 1700' elevation gain.

Rated "C" or "Intermediate".

No dogs please.

Meet at at the Green Valley PO and we can car pool from there. Departure from the PO will be at 10:30.

It is 13 miles and about 20 minutes to get to the TH. If you wish to meet us at the TH, park at the amphitheater parking lot.

The TH is directly across from the parking area.

Madera Canyon is a fee area - $5.00 per car.

Highlights of this hike include a lovely oak/juniper forest, giant quartzite boulders, huge Arizona Sycamores, and, of course, some great views.

We will take time for rest stops, lunch and taking in the views so expect to be out for around 3-4 hours minimum.

No rest rooms or water.
Please come prepared.
