We will DEPART the Walgreens at 10:00.

Let's go on a leisurely ramble thought some gorgeous Sonoran Desert.

This flat to gently rolling route will give us many opportunities to take in the beauty of the desert and enjoy sweeping views of the Tucson Mountains as well as the Baboquivari Peak Wilderness area to the south and Kitt Peak which is home to the world famous Kitt Peak National Observatory.

We will start out on the Ironwood trail and hike south to the Ironwood picnic area. Here we will take a snack break before hiking back via the Prospector and Golden Gate Trails.

Be sure to bring adequate water and snacks.

This no water or rest rooms.
