Tuesday English-Portuguese Conversation in Lisbon (looking for a meetup leader)

Hello everyone, Olá a todos!

This meetup is looking for a few fervent participants to take over its management. The meetup has already been paid until June, so it would just be to lead the discussion group from a fluent person in English and or Portuguese.

• This is our informal weekly meeting. It is free, but we do ask you to purchase something to eat or drink from our hosts, Merendeira.
• You can join in for as much of the session as you wish, but we will be chatting in either Portuguese or in English each hour, without mixing the languages.
• We will practice through question & answer, exploration of discussion topics, language games and more. We also receive answers to our language-related questions from the respective native speakers.
• The conversation will be fluid. This means that, while all are welcome, beginners will find either the Portuguese or the English conversation difficult to follow. We’ve all been there, so you're welcome to listen in to get used to the sounds and improve your fluency!
• Depending on the weather we sit inside or outside, but either way it's a big space with plenty of air movement, so please dress comfortably!
• If you are at a level where you can join in the conversation, you could also join our online meeting on Wednesdays as well.

• Este é o nosso encontro semanal informal. É gratuito, mas pedimos que comprem algo para comer ou beber aos nossos anfitriões, a Merendeira.
• Pode participar durante o tempo que desejar, mas iremos conversar alternadamente uma hora em Português e outra em Inglês, sem misturar os idiomas.
• Praticaremos através de perguntas e respostas, exploração de tópicos de discussão, jogos linguísticos e muito mais. • A conversa será fluida. Isto significa que, embora todos sejam bem-vindos, os principiantes terão dificuldade em acompanhar a conversa em português ou em inglês. Todos nós já estivemos nessa situação, por isso é bem-vindo a escutar a conversa com atenção para se habituar aos sons e melhorar a sua fluência!
• Dependendo do tempo, sentamo-nos dentro do estabelecimento ou na esplanada, mas de qualquer forma é um grande espaço com muito movimento de ar, por isso, vistam-se confortavelmente!
