Tuesday Night Jazz at The Commonwealth Pub Meetup Group

Michelle is an award winning vocalist that has been singing for 25 years creating music through jazz and the great American song book. Her alto voice and ability to improvise gives her the natural resources to tell stories not only through lyric but also through instrumental like soul & tone. She is a former director of vocal jazz ensembles at the University of Oregon and currently teaches piano/singing at Cascade School of Music.

"The Groove Merchants" are Dillon Schneider (Guitar), Evan Brawn (Bass), and Casey Smiley (Drums) featuring Special Guests Mollie & Jim Tennant for an evening of jazz.

The Elise Franklin Quartet, a group of experienced musicians playing jazz standards and Latin, is led by Elise Franklin on vocals and Jack Krouscup on piano. Elise grew up in a musical family, and pursued acting first, which led to singing professionally in 2000. She leads the band with Jack Krouscup, a keyboard musician, composer, and arranger with decades of experience, and a Berklee College Of Music graduate. Seasoned, sensitive and skilled players, Evan Braun (upright and electric bass), and Casey Smiley (drums) complete the group.
