Adam Carlson - Tuesday Night Jazz

Adam Carlson, Bend native, returns to his home town to lead his own quartet! He'll be teaming up with Bend locals Jim Tennant on trumpet, Seth Burrows on guitar, and Andrew Lion on bass to present a night of energetic jazz! ADAM CARLSON graduated from the University of Oregon in 2014 with a B.A. in Jazz Studies (Cum Laude), and has performed over a thousand times around the Northwest. Adam also spent a year in New York City where he honed his playing style to include jazz, soul, latin, funk, rock, and pop. He has played drums on numerous albums, and has performed with many different New York and Oregon musicians, including University of Oregon faculty members. After relocating to Portland in 2018, Carlson has collaborated with countless Portland musicians, and has even accompanied internationally known artists such as Chuchito Valdés, and Tommy Tutone. Currently, he works most frequently with Ben Rice and the PDX Hustle, Tony Starlight, Patrick Lamb, Bobby Torres, McKayla Marie, Galen Clark, Dan Balmer, Anandi Gefroh, and Justin Copeland.
