Tuesday Night Drawing

NOTICE!
Tuesday Night Drawing sessions for September 16 and September 23 will take place in our previous location, Argos Studio/Gallery (1012 Marquez Place, Bldg 1, Suite 103A), due to conflicts in our schedule with other events scheduled by our new host, Vital Spaces.

Tuesday, September 30 we will resume drawing sessions at the Vital Spaces venue located in the Annex Building, on the Santa Fe Midtown Campus (formerly Santa Fe University of Art and Design). The Annex Building is next door to the campus Library. After you enter the campus you will see Vital Spaces direction signs.

Fee: $10 cash or PayPal at the door.

All skill levels are welcome, from beginner to accomplished. The group is not an instructional drawing class, but a drawing experience and an opportunity to draw live models. Conversation among the artists during poses is common. Snacks during the 5-minute breaks are available — when artists choose to bring snacks.

Posing starts with warmup 2-minute poses, then 5-minute poses, and increasingly longer poses throughout the session. The poses take place in 20-minute blocks (two 10-minute poses, for example) with a 5-minute break between each 20-minute block. The last pose of the night is usually approximately 40-minutes, split into two 20-minute sessions (with a 5-minute break between the two sessions).

Folding chairs are available. Bring your own paper, drawing pads, drawing materials, etc.
