About us
A a bi-weekly or monthly (TBA on that) anime meet up group. Where anime fans meet up to watch anime together, eat together and discuss anime. Casual setting. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Rules:
1. No hate speech or bullying- Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
2. Respect everyone's privacy- Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group, unless the person gives permission otherwise.
3. Be kind and courteous- We're all in this together to create a Welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
4. Must be age 18 or above- This group isn't for minors. None of us wants to have to be held responsible for minors. We're all adults here.
5. Politics- leave it at home. While politics aren't technically outright forbidden, let's avoid political topics as much as possible. We get enough of that elsewhere, lets not bring it here, generally speaking.
6. Food, drink, etc- If you want to bring food, especially if it's for us all to share- that's more than welcome, but clean up after yourself! Anything you don't clean up, someone else in the group will have to clean up after you or we might lose the right to do these. Just be considerate.
7. Volume- if we're at a place where it is required, please try to keep the noise level to a manageable level. Whether that be talking, other sounds, etc. Yes, we're aware the owner of the group also may have difficulty with this- feel free to let Chris know if he's accidentally too loud, too lol.
