About us

Tulsa Area Fun Fabulous 40+ Female Friends (Tulsa F5) is a welcoming and diverse group of women who respect one another and each other’s values. Our goal is to build genuine friendships while enjoying the many activities and adventures available throughout the Northeast Oklahoma region.

Our events cover a wide variety of interests including — but not limited to — dining out, potlucks, book discussions, local food, music and beverage festivals, hiking, walking, farmers markets, antiquing, museums, happy hours, brunches, and other fun social outings.
At its heart, Tulsa F5 exists to bring fabulous women together to connect, support one another, and enjoy life through shared experiences and local adventures.

Group Guidelines

Participation
This group works best when members actively participate. The purpose of Tulsa F5 is to build friendships, and the best way to do that is by showing up, getting involved, and connecting with others.
If there’s something you’d like to do — a show to see, a restaurant to try, a festival to attend, or an activity you’d like to organize — there are likely others in the group who would enjoy it too, so let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

Courtesy & RSVP Expectations
When you RSVP for an event, please plan to attend. Event hosts rely on RSVPs when making reservations or planning group activities.
If your plans change, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so the host and other members know what to expect.
Members who repeatedly no-show or frequently cancel at the last minute may be removed from the group. Life happens and we understand occasional conflicts, but the spirit of this group is that members show up for one another and respect the time and effort of event organizers.
If you are on a waitlist, please keep an eye on your status so you know if a spot opens up. If you can no longer attend, please remove yourself so another member can join.

Event Hosts
Members are welcome and encouraged to host events. If you are interested in becoming an Event Organizer, please let us know and we can discuss.

Annual Dues
Meetup charges the group organizer $299 annually (2026 rate) to keep the group active.
To help offset this cost, each member contributes $10 per year. Dues will be collected in person by your third event.
If you are also a member of our co-ed group, Tulsa Shenanigans Society, you only pay $10 total annually for both groups — there is not a separate fee for each group.
Any funds collected beyond the annual Meetup fee will be used to support the group’s annual holiday gathering, including festive food and beverages.

Safety & Meeting Outside Events
The purpose of this group is to help women connect and build friendships. While many members naturally choose to meet outside of scheduled events, please use good judgment and take appropriate precautions when meeting individuals privately.
Members should remember that while we all come together through the group, individual members are not formally vetted, and everyone should use common sense and personal discretion when arranging one-on-one or small group meetups outside official events. (Please do NOT post messages requests to meet with other members if you are not a host; private messages are fine.)

Respectful Conversations
Our members come from a wide variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences. Conversations may naturally include many topics, including religion or politics. However, we ask members to be mindful and respectful of those around them.
Please keep discussions considerate and avoid creating uncomfortable or divisive situations during group events. The goal of Tulsa F5 gatherings is to create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable participating.
