Rt 66 Centennial Tour- Mother Road Market

Our Rt 66 Tour continues on with a stop at the “Mother Road Market”, and the shops nextdoor.

Mother Road Market is a unique high-end food court at the intersection of 11th and Lewis Ave. They have a full service bar. Out back is a huge covered patio facing the downtown skyline. There is a Rt 66 themed mini golf course- which I have yet to try! I plan on doing this if the weather is cooperative. I believe it was only $5 to play when I last asked.

There are several tasty food choices for any palate inside, plus some gift shops for Tulsa Rt 66 themed items. I have even seen handcrafted purses and candles for sale there- so you may want to bring some extra $ for purchases.

I always enjoy my meal there and am even really happily surprised on occasion- as they host a “test” kitchen for local budding business builders try out their chops at running a restaurant counter with their particular food! So, there’s no telling what will be served there come January.

It’s always an adventure- can’t wait to see what they have for us then!
