Disc Golf at Reed Park - All Skill Levels Welcome!
Details
Hey everyone, we are going to try Disc Golf at Reed Park on 12/14 from 1-3pm! I know not everyone has a disc golf set, nor the desire to purchase one, so I will be bringing enough discs for 16 people that need them (a putter, midrange, and driver for each)!
This event is dependent on the weather cooperating!
🌳 Course Info:
- Reed Park DGC is a 9-hole, public park course.
- The course is fairly short and mostly flat (~0.9 miles / ~2,200–2,300 ft total), with most holes around 225–275 ft — making it perfect for a relaxed, social round.
- There are concrete tees and DGA baskets.
🎒 What to Bring:
- A disc (or two) — but if you don’t have any we have enough discs to support up to 16 players without frisbee discs!
- Comfortable shoes for walking around the park.
- Water / snack, sunscreen, maybe a friend or two!
🔹 What to Expect:
We’ll start by meeting near the playground / rec-center entrance, then head out for a casual 9-hole round. Since Reed Park is flat and relatively short, it’s a good spot for new players, or for experienced players to practice short / up-shot throws. The environment tends to be relaxed — perfect for socializing, learning, or just having fun.
I will be using the UDisc app for Reed Park DGC to keep track of game progress and scores! I can set up guest players for tracking scores so it is not required to create a UDisc account if not desired!
See everyone there!
