Spring Yoga & Qigong Workshop
Details
🌼 Spring Yoga & Qigong Workshop 🌼
Saturday 25th April, 11am - 1pm, Southborough Civic Centre
This workshop is an invitation to pause and gently align with the energy of the season.
In traditional Chinese medicine, Spring is associated with the wood element - symbolising growth, expansion and forward movement. It’s the energy we see in nature as things start to grow and reach upwards again. Within the body, this rising momentum is linked to the liver and gallbladder, and we’ll explore gentle practices that support these meridians (energy channels).
Through a soothing blend of relaxing Yin yoga and Qigong, we will support this seasonal shift - easing out of winter’s heaviness, creating space in the body and mind. It’s a chance to rest, reset and reconnect before the busyness of the season fully unfolds.
Everyone is welcome - there is no requirement to have attended the previous workshops or to have done Qigong before.
Cost: ÂŁ35*
*Early Bird Offer:
Enjoy 10% off with code SPRING until the end of March
N.B. Booking and payment must be done through my booking site. Registering your spot on meetup alone does not guarantee your booking.

WHAT TO BRING: a mat, blanket and cosy layers.
WHAT’S INCLUDED:
- QIGONG: an introduction to Qigong (pronounced “chee-gong”), a traditional Chinese practice that involves breathwork, meditation and movement to work with our Qi (energy), using Gong (Skill). We’ll be focusing on the meridians (energy pathways) associated with the Spring season.
- YIN YOGA: we’ll be getting comfy with our bolsters for a slow, meditative practice focusing on long-held passive poses to target our deep connective tissues. We’ll continue our learning of the meridians and how they come into play in our yoga practice.
- YOGA NIDRA: we’ll get into our cosy layers, and have a nice long guided relaxation to close our practice, to deeply rest and rejuvenate.
- SOMETHING SWEET: we’ll finish off with a little sweet treat to wake us up!
