Data Visualization using r2D3: R Interface to D3 Visualizations

We are happy to announce the second meetup of the OnePackagePerMeetup new series that we have recently started at Tunis R User Group. We will have the great pleasure to be monthly hosting amazing guests! For the next few months we will focus on some of the powerful data visualization packages that are available in the programming language R.

We are delighted to be hosting Zaynaib Ola Giwa who will walk through the r2D3 package in R (https://rstudio.github.io/r2d3/): R Interface to D3 Visualizations. Ola Giwa (https://www.linkedin.com/in/zaynaib-ola-giwa/) is a data analyst and web developer based out of Chicago. She is a co-organizer of R-Ladies Chicago (https://www.rladieschicago.org/).

➡️ About the workshop:
D3 (https://d3js.org/) is an amazing data visualization library that allows you to create highly customizable visualizations. But with that flexibility, comes a high learning curve. In this workshop, Zaynaib will be teaching 3 basic concepts to create any chart with D3. These concepts are SVGs, data binding, and scales. When you understand these fundamentals you will be able to use your d3 scripts with your R shiny applications through the r2d3 R package.
