The QR code readers are extraordinarily quirky and slow (sorry). Please increase your phone's screen brightness to maximum and hold it at a 5-10 cm distance from the reader to help it focus. Please hold onto the codes as you will need them both in and out! We will be waiting for you in the lobby to help.
AGENDA
In everyday science, Ordinary Differential Equations (ODE) are essential for modelling various natural phenomena, including physical processes, chemical reactions, and biological systems. More recently, it was shown by the academic ML community that ODE-s can be successfully used in various Machine Learning (ML) architectures as well, coining the term Neural ODE-s. The synergy of ML and ODE-s can open new doors in everyday science by allowing to model systems with ever-increasing complexity, where abundant data is available.
We, at Turbine, would like to invite everyone who is interested to join us for this intro session on Neural ODE-s. We will guide you through the mathematics of the topic and show several application examples as well. No advanced mathematical knowledge is required outside of function derivatives and matrix multiplication. The expected duration of the intro session is around 70-80 minutes.
See you at the end of May!
