Thermopylae Trophy (RVYC event)

REGISTRATION
4.1. Registration is required for all boats intending to race. Register at:

Registration is free of charge:
Warning – The scheduled time of the warning signal is 1025 for the Lipton Cup and Thermopylae Trophy races.

The starts of the Lipton Cup and Thermopylae Trophy races will be in
the vicinity of Clover Point.
14. COURSES
14.1. The courses will be determined on the day of each race around a
series of marks off the Greater Victoria shoreline.
14.2. The course lengths will be a minimum of 12.5 miles subject to
conditions on the day.

RULES
2.1. The race will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules
of Sailing;
2.2. The prescriptions of Sail Canada will apply;
2.3. Applicable PHRF-BC Rules; and
2.4. Any changes detailed in this Trophy Series Notice of Race and the Race Sailing Instructions

Participation as always is at your own risk

8. INSURANCE Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party
liability insurance with a minimum cover of $2,000,000CDN.
