Turkey Creek Hike

Details
This is an awesome hike! We will plan on going on September 13 at 9am and go the second and third Saturdays for the most part.
The event is free.
It is at 1518 Port Malabar Road NE in Palm Bay Florida. Most of the trail is on a boardwalk. It is refuge for Florida plants. Most of it is shaded.
The Sanctuary stands on a small section of what was once an ancient Atlantic Ocean dune. This dune is part of a series of dunes formed by wind and wave action when the ocean extended across the state. Through the ages, life, death, and decay have gradually enriched the sand so that a forest stands where only sea oats could survive.
You can walk at your own pace. All ages are welcome. No dogs are allowed. It typically takes 90 minutes to walk casually.
Typically the bugs are not that bad but if it is humid you should wear bug spray.
