At the Turku Toastmasters club, we both speak and listen.
We cultivate a warm and secure atmosphere where individuals can freely express themselves and speak confidently, regardless of their level of experience, even if they are stepping onto the stage for the first time.
Our shared goal is to enhance our public speaking abilities and feel comfortable when addressing audiences.
WHAT WE DO
2 main sections in a meeting:
- space for giving public speeches : 5-7 minutes prepared speeches
- space for everyone : 1- 2 minutes impromptu speeches
- space for feedback, sharing, inspiration and motivation.
HOW WE MEET
1. Onsite meeting
Every other Tuesday at 18.00 - 19.30 (EET) (Changes will be notified)
2. Or via Zoom at : click here at the same time.
NB! The first 15 mins is ice breaking time.
IS THERE A FEE ?
1. You can attend 3 times for free.
2. When you decide to become a member of the club, there is a membership fee of $60 USD* in 6 months + a one-time $20 USD new-member fee = $80
--> It means, renewed membership fee is $60 USD.
