The VERB Kind is a unique and powerful mentoring program that reaches the youth inside the walls of a juvenile detention center and gives them a second chance through mentoring, education and connecting them with community resources.
The VERB Kind exists to ignite purpose, hope, and healing in incarcerated youth through consistent mentorship, meaningful relationships, and the power of second chances. We believe that freedom starts within and that even in the darkest places, transformation is possible. By training and equipping everyday citizens to mentor youth inside juvenile detention centers, we provide a consistent presence that models love, accountability, and belief in a better future. Our mission is rooted in the conviction that no young person is beyond redemption, and that every life holds the potential for impact when given the tools, support, and opportunity to thrive.
