Maybe you've rehearsed a speech in the car on the way to work and never actually given it. Or your hand goes up in every meeting except the one where you actually want to say something. We get it — most of us walked in for exactly that reason.
Whether you want to speak with confidence, grow as a leader, or just spend time with people who are quietly working on becoming a better version of themselves — Toastmasters could be exactly what you're looking for.
We meet every second Tuesday 📍 Ponsonby Community Centre 🕡 6:30–8:00 pm
We're a small, friendly club — 10 to 15 of us most nights — which means there's always room, and always someone paying attention to how you're doing. Every meeting is genuine encouragement, practical practice, and more laughs than you'd expect from a room full of people working on their public speaking.
Guests are always welcome and your first three meetings are on us — no pressure, no pitch, just come and see. Bring a friend if that makes it easier. Someone will be at the door to say hello.
