What we’re about
A small 20–35 walking crew for misfits, outcasts, thinkers, artists, musicians, or regular joes who never quite bonded with the default settings. We meet at dusk and early night for easy-pace walks and unfiltered talks, the kind that actually go somewhere. Questions, stories, hot takes, half-finished theories, and the occasional uncomfortable truth that makes you rethink something. Music is a big part of it too, whether playing it, talking about it, or just walking with certain songs stuck in your head. Sometimes it’s under dim streetlights in that late-night city hush. Sometimes it’s in the woods where the trees mind their business, and so do we. Either way, the goal is simple: move your body, sharpen your mind, and leave with better stories than you arrived with.
This group is for finding allies, and it’s meant to stay small and human. No forced networking, no name tags, no turning it into a structured club with bylaws and a “vibe committee.” It can literally be just you and me walking and talking, but bringing a droogie, cronie, or trusted friend is always welcome, as long as they can roll with the spirit of the thing. If it grows, fine. If it stays a tight, loyal circle, even better.
The running theme is simple: question everything, including yourself. It’s a brave space, not an echo chamber. We respect people, but we don’t worship ideas. Stirner and Nietzsche hang in the background, not as authorities, just as a nudge to “own your life” and “keep leveling up.” Any worldview is welcome, religious or otherwise, as long as you can talk about it like a human and not a pamphlet. Disagreement is welcome. Keep it thoughtful, keep it honest, and save the personal stuff for your significant other. We roast ideas, not people.
Sometimes the walk is the whole point. Sometimes we keep the conversation going after.
Speakeasy nights, Safety and basics
Some nights include an optional after-walk Speakeasy hang. It’s not secret and it’s not shady, just a cozy social hour where the conversation keeps going. It might be a backyard bonfire, a patio hang, a public hot tub spot, or another designated private location, and we’re open to other good ideas too.
