About our speakers:
Zachary Hanif - Head of AI, ML, and Data, VP Traffic Intelligence at Twilio
We're going to look at modeling diverse problems as universal data-structures: Graphs! We'll take a look at modern graph learning techniques, the mechanisms behind feature learning for graphical models, ways to model data for this domain, and the interplay between current deep learning approaches and graphs.
Riivo Kikas - Principal software engineer at Twilio
In this talk, we will explain how we started off with a simple multi-armed bandit algorithm for routing messaging traffic at Twilio. We'll show how we adjusted it for situations with batched, delayed feedback, and changing conditions. We'll also discuss how constraint optimization can be used along bandits.
