Join us for the AWS workshop demonstrating a Zero Trust architecture for service to service workloads!

During this workshop you will work with services such as Amazon API Gateway and AWS PrivateLink to implement Zero Trust protections for access to AWS services like AWS Lambda and Amazon DynamoDB. You will also use Amazon GuardDuty to see how monitoring behavior is a key component to an operational Zero Trust approach.

Throughout this workshop we will discuss the principles of Zero Trust and how AWS enables you to implement them in the most appropriate way for your workloads. This includes how a good Zero Trust architecture is not a single product, service, or architecture, but instead the application of principles and tenets to strengthen your designs. When complete, you will have had hands on experience implementing combined network and identity controls to help eliminate lateral network mobility risk and improve the overall security posture of your workload.

This workshop focuses on applying Zero Trust principles to the service-to-service architectures we see in many micro-architecture or distributed environments today. This is not the only type of architecture that can benefit from these principles however, as scenarios like end-user access and Industrial IoT can benefit as well. Keep an eye out for any sequels that may delve into these use cases as we continue the Zero Trust saga.
