Studio Ghibli Fest 2025: The Boy and the Heron + lunch at Kazoku.

For our next Ghibli Fest event. I wanted to add a little extra fun to our day. I thought it would be fun to get lunch together afterward!

Kazoku is right up the street and has amazing food, with very affordable prices😊!

The movie we are going to be seeing for this event is "The Boy and the Heron". It's a newer Ghibli film but has all of the charm of past features.

Overview from IMDB: In the wake of his mother's death and his father's remarriage, a headstrong boy ventures into a dreamlike world shared by the living and the dead in search of his missing stepmother.

The way movie events work with me. Is for whoever RSVP's. I will do my best to buy everyone's tickets so we can all sit together. Tickets run about $15.00. So it's not that big of a deal. On the day of the movie. I will be waiting in the main lobby by the fireplace, so we can all gather before going in.

After the film, If anyone wants to do lunch. We will meet at Kazoku up the street. If anyone needs a ride to and from the theatre to the restaurant. I can try and fit as many people in my car as I can for carpooling.
