🌞 Twin Cities Anime Meetup – Summer Potluck Picnic! 🍙

Join us for a relaxing summer picnic with fellow anime fans! We’ll be meeting at the park on Sunday, August 16th at 12:00 PM for good food, great company, and a laid-back afternoon outdoors.

Last year we did a cookout so I thought it would be fun to do a picnic this year! We will be meeting at the picnic tables by the main beach area. The one that has the swan boat rentals and the concession stand.

I’ll be providing sandwiches and drinks for everyone, so feel free to just show up and enjoy. If you’d like to bring a snack, dessert, or dish to share, it’s definitely appreciated, but it’s absolutely not expected.

Beyond the picnic itself, there are plenty of ways we can spend the afternoon together. If people feel like exploring. The park also offers boat rentals, bike rentals, and a beach area, so we can go for a ride, get out on the water, or simply relax by the shore.

Whether you’re a longtime member or new to the group, this is a great chance to hang out, chat about all things geek and enjoy the summer weather together.

As speaking of weather. This event is very dependent on nice weather. I rarely cancel events. But if weather doesn’t look like it’s going to cooperate. I can reschedule or I can find something else for us to do. But considering it’s the middle of August, I think we’ll be okay.
