Anime Dinner Meetup: Hand Rolls + Japanese Sweets

Join us for a cozy evening of Japanese food and getting to know fellow anime fans!

Saturday, January 16, 2027

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

We’ll start with dinner at Nokko (4747 Nicollet Ave, Minneapolis), a modern Japanese hand-roll (temaki) spot with fresh seafood, creative plant-based options, and a relaxed vibe. Perfect for sharing plates and talking about our favorite series!

After dinner we’ll head over to Taizo Japanese Sweets and Bites for dessert. Think traditional and modern Japanese treats to finish the night on a sweet note.

Parking at Nokko:

There’s a small lot in the strip mall with a few spots out front. Street parking is also available in the surrounding neighborhood. Space can fill up, so arriving a bit early is recommended.

Come hungry, bring your favorite anime recommendations, and let’s hang out! Geeks of all kinds are welcome.

RSVP so we can get a sense of the group size. Looking forward to seeing you there!
