Join us for a drink at Lake Monster Brewing Company and afterwards, we'll walk literally next door to Gremlin Theater to watch "Hmong Futures: The Future of Us", a play by Katie Ka Vang.
Itinerary:
- 6:15pm - Meet at Lake Monster Brewing (look for the table with the "AAPI" sign)
- 7pm - Walk over to Gremlin Theatre
- 7:30pm - The show starts
Overview of the play from their site:
- HMong Futures: The Future of Us is an intergenerational story asking what it takes for a family to move from surviving to thriving. Anchoring the play are three HMong American women, and it examines the conversations, daily rituals, and little moments that help us heal. Note: Contains adult language and situations, and references to physical violence.

- You can purchase your play's tickets here > select the 4/16 Thursday at 7:30pm showing. Price ranges from $15-$45.
- Seating for the performance appears to be first come first serve so it's possible we may not be able to all sit together
- Lake Monster Brewing has a large free parking lot that should be able to accommodate all of us
