2025 Viking Beginner Backgammon Tournament

## Viking Beginner

We invite those new to tournament play to come and get a taste of backgammon competition. The format is easy for most players even if you have only played a few games. You don't need to know how to use the doubling cube. If you have ever moved checkers around the board, you have the skills needed to enter this competition!

This is a round-robin tournament where you will get paired with others at similar skill levels. The format is designed to be fun and social. We will have experienced backgammon teachers on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Entry is free, there is a small registration fee of $10 to help pay for the space at the hotel. This is discounted for beginners, normally $60.

Come and win an amazing Viking trophy!

Starts at Noon, and should go to about 4 or 5 pm.
