Weekend Lessons
Details
Greetings, My Terpsichorean Friends!
Greetings from Reno! Last evening was a dance that kicked off the next four days of meetings, lessons, and, of course, LOTS of dancing. The big news is that our group, Twin Cities Country Dancers, is now a member of the International Association of Gay/Lesbian Country Western Dance Clubs! My apologies for the name, this group was formed before the BTQIA+ letters became part of the acronym. There are about a dozen Twin Citians here and are proudly representing our group. More on what this means in the near future.
This Sunday we will review an easy line dance that was introduced to us last week by Karo Silvola and Liberty Kirkeide. It’s called “The Giver” and is done to the Chappell Roan song of the same name.
The line dance lesson begins at 6:30, intermediate two-step starts at 7:00, and open dancing from 7:30 – 10:00.
