Chris's 69th Annual Birthday Bash Party - With TWO Jazz Bands! (& NO film show)

It's time to celebrate my birthday!
I'm so excited, everyone is being invited. Woot! 😁
All my friends, all my family, even all my enemies.
Let's all get together and party!
This one is so special, I decided to have LIVE music. 🎼🎵🎸🎹🪘🎶
But instead of like those parties before....
I am getting not one, but TWO bands. Sheesh!

(What does this have to do with indie film and documentaries?
Not much. But as fellow group members, let's hangout. We can even talk movies! Maybe we just want to get out, see each other, and trash talk about "Black Widow", I don't care.... fun is fun.)

Details:
The first band will be my friends,
Ben Seims' trio/band:
THE WILLIE AUGUST PROJECT
They will play melodic modern jazz from 2:30 to 5pm.
The second band will be more friends,
featuring Mira and Tom Kehoe:
XIBABA
This 7 piece group will play brazilian world jazz from 7 to 9:30pm.
DANCING IS VERY POSSIBLE TO THIS SAMBA-STYLE MUSIC! 🕺💃
Like my previous parties, there will be a cover charge for the music:
$15.00
(Those ten folks wanna get paid! ....Tipping them is okay too!) 💰

There will be all the usual festivities:
food, drink, games, assorted shenanigans....
even a bonfire after dark.
You (and a friend) are hereby invited.

Breaktime for dinner is at 5 to 7pm, featuring potluck contributions and some grilled meats and snack stuff. You are encouraged to bring something to share that you'd like to eat and drink.
My fancy craft beers will be available until they are gone! 🍺🍻
Otherwise, BYOB.

Throughout all this time, there will be fun stuff like card games in the house (upstairs), boardgames in the basement, and yard games in the backyard. Shenanigans in the Tiki Hut. Please bring a friend if you'd like to. And make some friends if you meet new folks at the party!
Ice, party supplies, soft drinks, and snacks will be provided.
Bring your own chair to assure a seat outdoors for the music.

Rain Date: Two weeks later, August 28th. Same details.... (🚫 ⛈ !)

A couple rules:

• NO parking in the driveway! 🚫🚘
  Neighborhood street parking is fine.
  (The bands need to get in and out.)
• See Chris and pay me as soon as you can after arrival. 💸
  (I pay the bands, so I collect the cover charge.)
• Be nice. 😉
  (Have fun, just not so much others don't!)
• NO gifts! The party and music is my gift to myself. 🎁
