The Bridges and Bluffs of 9 Mile Creek-Bloomington + Scandinavian Cafe

Let’s meet up for an early spring hike along 9 Mile Creek and the Minnesota River, then up along the bluff on the way back. This park is home to some of Minnesota’s earliest ephemerals (Spring wildflowers) – we will check them out!
Following the hike(optional), join us for brunch/lunch/coffee at Taste of Scandinavia Café, 401 West 98th Street, Bloomington, MN 55420

Expect to hike 7-7.5 miles at a medium pace (18-20 minute mile) for 2 ½-3 hours. We will pause a few times to take in the natural surroundings. This path is mostly flat with some steep footing up and down the bluff. The terrain is pavement, crushed rock, dirt, rocks, roots and may be muddy in spots.

Bathrooms: There is a portable toilet at the trailhead. No bathrooms along the trail.

Sorry, no +1s or children allowed on this hike.

Well behaved dogs kept on a 6 foot or shorter leash are welcome
