Let’s meet up to hike approximately 7-7.5 miles at Lake Rebecca Park Reserve! Following the hike(optional) join us for snacks/brunch/lunch at Iron Exchange Tavern & Brewery, 1500 Howard Avenue, Maple Plain, MN 55359

A gently rolling Big Woods landscape and numerous wetland areas make up the beautiful Lake Rebecca Park Reserve. This park is a haven for wildlife, including trumpeter swans.
THE HIKE: Most of the trails will be non-paved trails with uneven terrain that varies with gravel, sand, mud, rocks, roots and dirt. There will be a few asphalt trail segments for connecting with the turf trails. There are rolling hills on this trail. Due to spring conditions, there may be some shallow water or sloppy mud we need to cross, so plan ahead with appropriate footwear and/or extra socks. Please do also consider taking precautions for ticks (tucking pants into socks, DEET spray, etc.) as they are present on MN trails now.
There are portable toilets at the trailhead, with a couple of pit toilets along the way.
It is unlikely that there is drinking water available at this time of year, so please bring your full water bottle from home.

Well behaved dogs kept on a 6 foot or shorter leash are welcome
Parking is FREE at this Three Rivers park!

We are meeting at the BEACH PARKING LOT. After turning in to the park, go left at the T, then follow the road to the end – the beach lot will be on your right.
