Sunday Afternoon Hike and Brew! Nine Mile Creek & Nine Mile Brewing

This is a fun hike at a wonderful park in Bloomington!! Hiking starts at 3:00 pm. It will be a great afternoon of hiking and drinking beer! What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

This will be a moderately fast paced hike (approx. 16.5 to 17 minute miles) at Moir Park and 9 Mile Creek. We will hike a route approximately 5.5 to 7 miles in length, depending on the weather, trail conditions and the decision of the leader. The route will be on paved, grass and wood chip trails.

After the hike, we will drink beer at Bloomington's first taproom, Nine Mile Brewing Co. located at 9555 James Avenue South, Suite 290. The brewery has great indoor seating for large groups and some heated outdoor seating. The taproom usually has a food truck there.

No dogs, kids or plus ones

We hike in light rain or snow, but not a thunderstorm or a blizzard. If it looks like bad weather, we’ll cancel the hike by noon. Ice grippers may be needed if there is snow on the ground. Watch for notices from your leaders.

We will meet up at the Morgan Avenue parking lot at Moir Park at 3 p.m. and start hiking by 3:05, so don't be late. We like to start on time. There is a portable bathroom. No potable water.

If your plans have changed and you are unable to attend, please update your RSVP in a timely manner so we are not waiting for you at the start and to allow those on the waitlist to attend.
