Tenth Annual Food Drive & Hike! Save the Date!

Twin Cities Hiking Meetup is joining forces with the Social(able) Fitness Meetup group to help neighbors in need. This marks our 10th anniversary of collecting food during the National Stamp Out Hunger season. Together we will enjoy the beauty of hiking at Lake Elmo Park Reserve followed by a celebration lunch on us!

Our goal is to collect 300 lbs. of food this year! We did it before and can do it again!

Hike Plan: We will hike the rolling hills of Lake Elmo Park Reserve at a moderate pace. We will travel on dirt paths, alongside prairie and ponds and sloping hills. We will hike 3 miles for one hour, with lunch immediately to follow at a nearby location.
Food donations: Bring food to donate to our neighbors. Upon arriving, place your donations in the trunk of Cece's car. Thank you!
Lunch provided: We will talk about the details at the Trailhead before the hike.
Meetup Location: Nordic Visitor Center. This is a FREE day at the park - No admission fee.
Restrooms: Available in Visitor Center.
Recommended: Good hiking shoes, water & a smile :)
No children or pets.
