Evening Hike, Dodd Road Trailhead (Lebanon Hills)

Welcome Hikers to this TCHM Tuesday night Hike near Marsh Lake on Dodd Road. Do you like pine forest? Perhaps after work, may be the only time available during the week for some people to participate in a good hike.

This hike is located in Lebanon Hills Regional Park, at the Dodd Road Trailhead, secluded in the extreme southeast corner of the park. The pace will be relaxed to moderate (approximately a 20 minute mile). You will not be left behind! This 4 mile hike winds it's way through the park, on several trails including the Voyager Trek route. These are rustic trails and so are full of roots, rocks and perhaps a little mud at times.

There is only street parking near the Trailhead entrance and restrooms are not available. It is strongly recommended to wear hiking shoes or boots as well as weather appropriate clothing. The trails can be buggy at times. Feel free to bring your trekking poles if you use them.

PS:
This trailhead once included a circle used for good parking access. Last year due to city street expansion the circle was removed and only street parking is now available. In the process the trailhead sign was torn down and not yet replaced thus making park access identification difficult. The map link provided should get you there fine even though it does not look like a typical trailhead. Hopefully the park service will soon reinstall this access point identification sign making it easier to recognize.
