CANCELLED - Sunday Afternoon Hike and Brew! New location!

Join us for a fun hike along the Minnesota River Bottoms located in Bloomington at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 21, 2025, with a get together after the hike at Nine Mile Brewing. It will be a great afternoon of hiking and drinking beer! What better way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

This will be a moderately paced hike (approx. 16.5 to 17 minute miles). We will hike a route approximately 5.5 to 6.5 miles in length, depending on the weather, trail conditions and the decision of the leader. The route will be on dirt, gravel or grass trails.

After the hike, we will drink beer at Nine Mile Brewing located at 9555 James Avenue, Suite 290, in Bloomington. The brewery has great indoor seating for large groups and some outdoor seating. They now serve food as well.

No dogs, kids or plus ones.

We hike in light rain or snow, but not a thunderstorm or a blizzard. If it looks like bad weather, we’ll cancel the hike by noon.

Dont be late, we get going by 3:03 pm. There is no portable bathroom nor potable water.

If your plans have changed and you are unable to attend, please update your RSVP in a timely manner so we are not waiting for you at the start and to allow those on the waitlist to attend.
