Moderate Tuesday Morning Hike at Minnesota River Bottoms - Lyndale Parking Lot

The Tuesday morning hike at Moir Park and 9 Mile Creek is temporarily being relocated due to bridge damage and closures on the 9 Mile Creek trail.

Please join us instead for a moderate hike along the Minnesota River Bottoms located in Bloomington at the south end of Lyndale Avenue off Old Shakopee Road. We will head west along the Minnesota River to the rope ferry and on the way back may hike a part of the 9 Mile Creek trail as well. For those who want a shorter hike (about 4 miles), you can skip the 9 Mile Creek portion.

We will meet at 9:00 am and get hiking by 9:05 so don't be late. We will hike approximately 5.2 miles at a 17 to 18 minute mile pace. The trail is snow packed so grippers are recommended.

Notice: We have requested a portable restroom at this location but there is not one yet.
