Let's Snowshoe Hyland!

Let's meet up to snowshoe the fresh snow-covered trails of Richardson Nature Center at Hyland Lake Park Reserve in Bloomington!
We'll meet up at 9:00 AM in front of the Nature Center building so those who need to rent snowshoes can do so. As soon as possible, we will head out to the Prairie Trail loop (clockwise), make our way onto the wooded trails north, complete the prairie loop and possibly more before returning to the Nature Center.
Importantly, be mindful that any distance in snowshoes, especially on deep or fresh snow, is more of a workout than hiking with just boots/cleats. I will be taking a moderate/easier pace however as we can expect varying levels of experience/fitness people may set their own pace and those who wish to explore further may of course do so. That said, no one will be left behind.
Anyone interested in grabbing a hot beverage/food following the event - just speak up when we get together.
