20th Anniversary Hike & Picnic - Jensen Lake Trailhead, Lebanon Hills Park

Twin Cities Hiking Meetup is turning 20!

Join us on Saturday morning, June 20, 2026, for a celebratory hike and picnic at the Jensen Lake Trailhead in Lebanon Hills Regional Park.

Hike Options
We’re offering two hike times so everyone can participate:

• 9:00 am Main Hike — Two loops (approximately 4 miles)
• 10:00 am Short Hike — One loop (approximately 2 miles)

All hiking speeds are welcome. Please gather near the Jensen Lake Shelter before your chosen hike time.

Picnic
The picnic begins at 11:00 am in the picnic area across from the shelter.
We will provide:

• Hotdogs
• Potato salad
• Potato chips
• Watermelon
• Condiments, plates, napkins, and utensils

Vegetarian or gluten‑free? Feel free to bring your own plant‑based hotdog and/or gluten‑free bun for us to cook.
Please bring:

• Your own beverage
• A side dish to share (serving 3–4 people)
• A lawn chair or camp chair

A small optional donation ($2–$3) to help cover costs is appreciated but not required.

Celebration Activities
We will honor our event organizers and all the hikers who make Twin Cities Hiking Meetup such a vibrant community. Expect a couple of surprise guests, games, and prizes.

RSVP Information
When you sign up, please indicate which hike time you plan to attend so we can plan for group sizes and food. We’ve set the attendee limit at 100, but we’re happy to increase it if needed. Please keep your RSVP updated so we can purchase the right amount of food.

Weather Plan
A rain date of June 27, 2026 is scheduled in case of stormy weather on June 20.
