🍂Wed PM Fall Hilly Hike🍁at Richardson Nature Center - Bloomington
Details
Let’s meet up for an invigorating hike on the open prairie, in the woods and up and down the many scenic hills of Hyland Lake Park Reserve/Richardson Nature Center, including to the top of Mount Gilboa for a picturesque view of fall colors from one of the highest elevations in Hennepin County.
Expect to hike about 5 miles at a medium-pace (19-20 minute mile) for 1 ½-2 hours. We will pause a few times to hydrate and take in the natural surroundings. The terrain is hilly, uneven and varies with turf, long grass/weeds, wood chips, loose gravel, mud and dirt.
Bathrooms: There are modern bathrooms in the Richardson Nature Center building at the beginning of the hike.
Sorry, no dogs, +1s or children allowed on this hike.
