Brookview Golf Course

Join us for the unofficial scramble with prizes at Brookview Golf Course in Golden Valley on Saturday, September 16. This is a great course that is both picturesque and challenging. I've reserved 5 tee times for 20 golfers starting at noon for an 18-hole event. There will be prizes for longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin...plus prizes for the lowest scoring team. After golf, we can meet in the onsite restaurant to announce winners, hand out prizes, get drinks and a bite to eat.

We're getting a bit of a price break because this is considered an outing by Brookview. The greens fee is $42 walking and if you want a riding cart it's $59. There are no senior discounts. But if you have a PCC card, you may be able to get a discount. Call the course for details if you are a PCC member. So sign up and join us for a fun day of the official end-of-season golf! (though...if we still get nice weather into late Sept through early Nov...there will be more golf meetups).

You can RSVP and/or change your RSVP up until noon on Wednesday, September 6. Because this is a group event, the course wants to know our final count 10 days in advance.

So, if you sign up please intend to golf with us. If you change your RSVP to No within that 10-day window, the course will charge me for your round. Therefore, no-shows are a big no-no. If you can't make it, just change your RSVP before the 6th. Let's all be respectful of the courses we play, my wallet and this meetup group's reputation.
