Hike On and Off-Trail Explore: Fairy Falls In Stillwater!

Details
Come explore this awesome area managed by the National Park Service in Stillwater MN! Parking is easy to find, search "Fairy Falls Trailhead" in google maps. Parking is just south of the Trailhead along Orwell street, you will see signs for the parking zone.
The crown jewel of this hike is the beautiful Fairy Falls which although sometimes dry is still a gorgeous sight with massive sandstone and limestone cliffs.
NOTE: There are VEWY FEW maintained trails in this wilderness area and the terrain is often steep! All skill levels are welcome (we are a slow, explorative pace group, happy to stop and look at cool plants, etc) however this hike might be best for those who don't mind a little adventure/challenge to their hikes. We will likely explore the falls, then navigate through the woods to explore the other ravines and valleys. Dogs are welcome in this area, but should be comfortable around cliffs, terrain.
WEATHER: It's supposed to snow a bit overnight and into the early morning. Should make for a pretty snow-dusted hike. We hike in all weather so come prepared for chilly possibly snowy/wet conditions! You might want to budget an extra 10 or so minutes to get to Stillwater if you are coming from the cities.
Optional lunch in Stillwater after if there is interest!
