Are you a Paleo nerd? Are you feeling a bit alone in your obsession over lost worlds? Then let's build a community together to explore the wild world of Paleo nerd-dom, imcluding: paleontology, paleobiology, paleogeography, and prehistory with other enthusiasts. This is meant to be a group for hobbyists and amateurs to discuss broad topics related to animals and plants and landscapes that have been lost to time. Though anyone who identifies as a paleo-nerd is welcome!
Activities may include: monthly meet-ups over drinks to discuss the newest Paleo best selling books and breakthrough research ... or view/discuss representations of prehistoric world in film and TV. Other fun options? Outings to experience the prehistoric in our neighborhood. Museums, geological sites, and zoos may be a good way to experience the current topics we're discussing in a more visceral way.
