River Valley Paddle Battle - Fall 2024

Event Info

• Teams are guaranteed 5 games in a pool play format, advancing to bracket play.
• Dates:
• Sat, Nov 9: Men's & Women's Doubles
• Sun, Nov 10: Mixed Doubles
• Cost: $50 for the first event, $45 for the second. Pickleballbrackets.com adds a $5 service fee per event.
• Primary Ball: Franklin X-40
• Venue: Winona Tennis Center, Minnesota (Indoor, Tennis Hardcourt, 12 courts)

Partner Registration
Your partner must register within 7 days, or you'll be moved to the waitlist. Once both registered, you’ll rejoin if space allows.
Divisions & Scheduling

• Start as early as 8am. Exact times will be emailed by Sun, Nov 3rd.
• Event durations vary. Keep the whole day open.
• Sandbagging: Sign up according to your DUPR rating. Higher-rated partner determines the team division.

Prize Money & Medals
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners get medals. $3,000 cash purse split across all divisions.
Game Format

• Pool play to 11, win by 2.
• Playoffs to 15, win by 2.
• 1st & 3rd place playoffs: Best of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
• 1 timeout per game.

• Free Practice: Possible on Fri, Nov 8th.
• Registration Deadline: Fri, Nov 1st, 11:55pm.
• Refund Policy: Full refund if canceled by Nov 1st.
• DUPR Scores Submitted. USAPA rules apply.
