The physical spaces we inhabit, from a room or building to a neighborhood or city has a profound impact on our psychology. Last month we discussed podcasts about the psychology of architecture and some of the impacts and possibilities of urban architecture.

This month we'll talk about the sustainability as it relates to transforming our cities and homes for the future. What changes are on the horizon, what are the goals of those changes, and are they realistic and accessible?

Please listen to a few of these podcasts (I use Google Podcasts, but they should be available in any podcast app:

Utopian Hours 2023 (31 min) (the intersection of urban architecture and sustainability)

Cities of the Future | Lucelia Rodrigues (36 min)

The natural building blocks of sustainable architecture (13 min)

Architecture's AI crossroads (30 min)

For fun, check out the Building Sustainably podcast and pick one to listen to and summarize how it weaves in or adds to the info from the other podcasts we listened to:

Please come a little early to make your café purchase(s). I'll have a sign on a table nearby and we can gather tables as needed. The store closes at 9pm, so I'll set an alarm for 8:45 for closing comments.
