MN Short Films Showcase
Details
There is a 3 hour shorts film event in St. Louis Park on Wed, Jan 24, at 6:00pm.
This a paid event and tickets are going fast.
*I will be mingling around the theatre. As this is a film screening with no talking in the theatre, it is an event to come see the films and leave as you choose. There will be a lot of people, so this is not a meetup event meant to be a meet and greet, it is an invitation to the film showcase.*
Join us for our annual MN Shorts Showcase and enjoy this terrific collection of films.
We have a little something for everyone: a documentary, a silent film, horror, crime, and suspense.
Here is the list of included films:
I Used to Be You by Mercies May (After a dramatic encounter in a parking garage, a man struggles to shake the creeping feeling that someone is still after him.)
Macguffin by Dan Delano (When Guy gets his thing stolen, he must race around town with the help of his companion, Barb, to try and track it down.)
Openings by Johnny Griese & David Jones (A man gets a new job that takes a dark turn.)
The Point of Departure by James Snapko (An actress and her younger brother murder their older sibling and attempt to cover up their crime.)
Tears, Fears, Guns & Solutions by Mitch Waters (The film reveals the Twin Cities' community-led fight against pervasive gun violence and the quest for peace.)
Visitant of Paris by Chelsey Grant (A silent short familial drama following a determined young woman's attempt to quell her own reality by recapturing an unrepeatable life in Paris.)
Walk Away by Steven Warkel (Charles is left conflicted after an unexpected discovery.)
