Hey gals! I'm going to the co-ed sand volleyball event with Jeremy's group "Minneapolis 20s and 30s Somethings." If you'd like to join me, I'll be there!

They only have four rules here otherwise its standard volleyball play. They ask if your good enough to pass the ball in a bump set spike format to do so but don't strictly adhere to this formula.

  1. If your very first serve attempt is unsuccessful you get another attempt called a mulligan.
  2. Say your name and the score as you serve and make sure the other team can hear you and is set.
  3. Games are played to 25 win by 2. Fouls are generally not called here but if it is called and there is a dispute you redo the point. If there is outside interference another ball from a different game the point is dead if someone yells "Ball interference".
  4. The first 24 players that arrive play on sand. After that we number off 1 to 6 to decide who plays on sand and grass (please respect organizers as we do this to ensure everyone plays sand and grass and has fun to meet new people).

Losers on both sand courts will move down to grass courts while everyone on grass moves up.
