Sunday Morning Yoga in the Park
Details
The Twin Cities Yoga Cooperative invites you to Sunday morning yoga along Lake of the Isles. All levels of ability welcome! There is no obligation to attend class. Please read the further details I've provided below so you are aware what to expect for this event:
• A waiver must be signed to attend class. If you signed one in 2021 through 2023 or anytime in 2024, I do not need another one signed for 2024. The link for the waiver is https://rb.gy/vjubpf.
• To make this accessible for all, there is no obligation or cost to attend. Voluntary donations will be accepted to cover costs such as the park permit fee and insurance. Donations are greatly appreciated and can be made either onsite or by Venmo @theyogaambassador / Cash App $yogaambassador
• Parking information: There is plenty of free street parking nearby to the class location.
• This is a Vinyasa style class with the potential of some difficulty. If you have any physical limitations or rather take it easy, I suggest modifying poses when necessary. If you have any additional concerns, discuss them with the instructor prior to class.
• Class will start at 10 AM and will last for 75 minutes.
• Please attempt to arrive in the area at least 5 minutes before class begins so you are able to park, find a spot for your mat, etc. If you know you need to leave class early or arrive after class starts, please place your mat near the edges of class.
• Once class has begun, please do not attempt to grab the yoga instructor's attention in a manner that is disruptive to class. Once class begins, the yoga instructor is not able answer questions or help with any issues.
• Amplified sound will not be utilized. Place your mat within the perimeter of the green space defined the walking paths.
• Inclement Weather: Significant rain or poor air quality may affect whether class is held. The instructor will attempt to give a 2 hour notice if class is cancelled. In cases where there may be a chance of rain and it isn't clear if class will be affected 2 hours from class time, the instructor plans on holding class unless the circumstances change.
Class will be taught by Andrew (Andy) Craddock, the founder of the Twin Cities Yoga Cooperative. Andrew has been teaching yoga in the park for the tenth year. Andrew continues to teach donation based yoga classes to provide a unique experience for the community.
