The Association of American University Presses (AAUP) and the Alcuin Society have combined their annual Book Design competitions to create an amazing exhibition, 'The Beauty of the Book' at UBC. The opening reception (with refreshments) is from 5-7pm on Monday, but you can see the books through 13 December.
After the event, we will head out together for dinner & drinks.
The exhibition is in the concourse of the building so meet there at 5 - not in room 155 (I don't know why it's coming up like that and I can't change it!).
Note that Shelley will not be able to attend this so you'll have to find each other by looking 'typographic'!
