Tierney Milne is a Montreal-born designer and illustrator currently living in Vancouver. Her studies in psychology (UBC) and illustration and design (IDEA Program) inspire her to breakdown the complexities of our inner and outer landscapes and reassemble them in colourful and highly imaginative ways. When not illustrating commercially or working as a digital designer, Tierney pursues her own artwork and mural projects.

About Type Brigade
Type Brigade (http://typebrigade.com) is Vancouver’s typography and type design speaker series. Every other month, we host talks with local designers, developers, artists, and type enthusiasts in the city. We also arrange special events and workshops with type designers and letterers from all over the world, including Martin Jackson, Roxane Gataud, Lost Type, Commercial Type, and more.
We signify each Type Brigade with a new set of custom numerals which will be revealed soon!
CodeCore (http://codecore.ca) are sharing their space with us! They have also hosted us for our events with Lost Type, Commercial Type, and Roxane Gataud. CodeCore specializes in web development training using cutting-edge technologies that are in high demand.
We still have two sponsorship slots available for this event, and some other upcoming opportunities. If you or your company might be interested, send me an email at [masked] or find out more at http://typebrigade.com/sponsors
On April 13th at 7:00pm, Type Brigade is also excited to present an iPad Lettering Workshop (https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/ipad-lettering-workshop-with-alanna-munro-tickets-33153617362) with Alanna Munro at Apple Pacific Centre. Registration (https://www.eventbrite.ca/e/ipad-lettering-workshop-with-alanna-munro-tickets-33153617362) opens on March 30th at 10:00am, and is by-donation, with all proceeds going towards future Type Brigade events.
We will be photographing and filming the meetup. The photos and video clips may be published on the Type Brigade websites or circulated to promote future meetups. If you have questions or concerns about this, please contact Kenneth ([masked]).

I wrote in the original event description that, as an organisation, we are working to improve our accessibility considerations and documentation. Due to this unexpected location change, we are now in an older building in Gastown that is at the top of a tall flight of stairs and is not nearly as accessible.
I sincerely apologize for this, and if you or one of your guests will have difficulty attending because of this change, please get in touch with me: [masked] In addition, we will to be back at a location with elevators for our next event in May, and can I pre-reserve a spot for you at that event.
If you require other accessibility-related measures (ex. sign language interpretation, captioning, etc.) please contact [masked]
If you have questions about the event, you can always contact [masked] or [masked] .
Make sure you follow @typebrigade on Twitter (http://twitter.com/typebrigade) and Instagram (http://instagram.com/typebrigade), and mention us if you have any questions.
See you at the event!
